All about your application

What do I have to consider when applying?

Please send us your CV (previous activities, tools used, programming languages, technologies), a personal cover letter, all relevant leaving certificates from universities/technical colleges or school leaving certificates, employer references, and performance overviews and internship certificates (if available) in PDF format and in one document, if possible. Please note that the maximum file size is 7 MB. 

After receiving your application documents, we will send you a confirmation e-mail within one workday; then the documents will be forwarded directly to the person in charge of the respective department. The entire application process in our company takes no more than three to four weeks.

You are free to use our career portal to apply directly for a job. And will always be happy to receive speculative applications if there is no suitable job posting for you.

What can I expect at ASTRUM IT?

On your first working day you will be welcomed by your team leader or department head and you will meet your colleagues during a tour of the company. We will show you where meetings take place, where you can have lunch with other staff members, and where you can find free soft drinks and coffee. After that, you will be familiarized with your tasks in the respective department.

Familiarization is carried out by your team leader or one of the colleagues from your team. This job familiarization phase is utterly important to us. The goal is to appropriately integrate you into the team with the tasks most suitable for you. The size of the team usually varies between three and twelve people. Our staff work in spacious offices with modern workstations.

Depending on the agreement in the job interview, you will be assigned to the project discussed. This can be with internal product development or IT consulting at company headquarters or in Munich, or else in an external customer project – i.e., directly at the customers’ in the Nuremberg-Fürth-Erlangen region.

What else should I know?

Your contact for most issues is your team leader or head of department, who will also regularly conduct appraisal interviews with you. This will give you an opportunity for agreements regarding individual development goals and other matters.

It goes without saying that your professional skills should be convincing. And we want to know why you chose us, of all possible companies, as a potential employer. Your authentic, open behavior is what matters to us, too.

Naturally, appropriate grades or certificates are a basic prerequisite. But what is more important to us is practical experience already gathered, and the attitude you bring with you.
